Dropoff DMV was born from a simple observation: buying items on Facebook Marketplace and other online platforms is easy, but getting them home can be a challenge.

As residents of Howard County, MD, we noticed that many great deals were being missed because people didn't have the means to transport larger items, couldn't coordinate pickup times with sellers, or simply didn't want to deal with the hassle of meeting strangers.
